  • Taras Vysotskyi and Ambassador of Japan to Ukraine discuss cooperation in the agricultural sector

    Acting Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Taras Vysotskyi and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Ukraine Matsuda Kuninori discussed the priority areas of cooperation between Ukraine and Japan in the agricultural sector.

    Ambassador Matsuda Kuninori said that the Japanese side had confirmed the participation of its delegation in the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024) to be held on 11-12 June 2024 in Berlin. Japan is organising a roundtable discussion on Ukrainian-Japanese cooperation in the agricultural sector.

    Matsuda Kuninori noted that Japan is considering opening Asian markets to Ukrainian agricultural products, in particular, chicken meat.

    Taras Vysotsky thanked Japan for its systematic support of Ukraine and noted that opening Asian markets for Ukrainian agricultural products was an important step for the development of both bilateral relations and businesses.
