Generation
A hydroelectric unit at a hydroelectric power plant with a capacity of over 300 MW has been repaired as part of a large-scale repair campaign at power generation facilities.
The repair campaign at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities is ongoing. The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is fully sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. There is no shortage.
Consequences of the weather
Due to the bad weather and technological disruptions caused by it, consumers in Lviv, Rivne and Kirovograd regions were temporarily left without electricity. In Donetsk region, 4 settlements remain without power.
Situation in the frontline regions
Hostile terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. Due to shelling, 15 settlements in Donetsk region, 3 settlements in Zaporizhzhya region and 4 settlements in Kherson region are without power supply. Some consumers in Chernihiv, Sumy and Kharkiv regions are still without electricity.
Power company repair teams are working where the security situation allows.
In Kherson region, 2 settlements that have been cut off since the beginning of the de-occupation have been reconnected.
Consequences of the Kakhovka HPP dam blast
The flood consequences caused by the dam explosion are being recorded and eliminated. In Kherson, 211 consumers who were disconnected after the flooding have been reconnected. 13.3 thousand customers remain without power.
Power engineers are working to restore the power supply.
Situation at ZNPP
A slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond is recorded. It is currently 16.57 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
Situation in the regions
Due to technological disruptions, some consumers in the Chernihiv region were disconnected from electricity supply. Restoration works are underway.
Exports/imports
There were no carried out commercial exports and imports of electricity yesterday.
