The country’s energy infrastructure was not damaged by the enemy’s massive cruise missile attack at dawn on May 9. However, some consumers in 6 regions remain disconnected due to damage caused by previous shelling.

In the evening of May 8, specialists of the GTS Operator of Ukraine inspected the company’s territory and found a fragment of an explosive object in the non-working area. The equipment was not damaged and there is no threat to the stable operation of the system.

Terror continues in the frontline areas. Some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions remain without electricity.

At the same time, despite the difficult security situation, power engineers continue to restore power supply. Over the past day, we have reconnected 21,500 consumers. Most of them are customers in Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions.

The power system is operating stably with no capacity constraints.
