Enemy attacked energy infrastructure facilities; electricity consumption restrictions in place in Kharkiv region and Kryvyi Rih district
POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Over the past day, due to network constraints on the transmission system operator’s lines, blackout schedules were applied in Kharkiv region. Today, the restrictions continue to be applied: in the morning, outage schedules are in effect in Kharkiv region, and there is a local restriction on electricity consumption in Kryvyi Rih district.
There is no shortage of electricity in the integrated power system of Ukraine.
Yesterday afternoon, due to the sunny weather and, accordingly, the active generation of electricity by SPPs, the transmission system operator limited the generation of electricity from renewable sources to a total of 14,243 MWh.
The power system of Ukraine is operating in a stable and balanced manner.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
At night, the enemy attacked equipment at a high-voltage substation in Zaporizhzhia region twice with UAVs. The equipment was damaged. Yesterday, shelling disconnected a high-voltage overhead line in Kharkiv region, resulting in a blackout at the substation that supplies Kharkiv’s household consumers. All consumers have now been reconnected.
Two high-voltage power lines in Dnipropetrovsk region were simultaneously disconnected as a result of the fighting.
Also in Dnipropetrovsk region, an explosion occurred on the territory of a gas infrastructure facility as a result of the fall of the debris of a downed rocket. The buildings were damaged. There were no casualties.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond has slightly decreased to 15.49 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 313 MW. Exports of up to 362 MW are also expected at night hours.
