  • Situation in energy system on 5 June: more than 20,000 consumers in Sumy and Donetsk regions left without electricity due to shelling

    The enemy continues to terrorise the frontline and border areas. In particular, 35 settlements in Donetsk region are cut off due to fighting, with 13,200 consumers without power. In addition, 7,700 customers were cut off due to shelling in Sumy region.

    Some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions also lost power due to earlier shelling.

    The situation with electricity generation and consumption is stable and under control.

    Over the past day, 340 MWh of electricity was exported to Moldova. Commercial imports from Slovakia and Moldova totalled 6,187 MWh.

    The volume of gas in storage facilities increased by 28.9 million cubic metres over the day. Natural gas reserves amount to more than 9.6 billion cubic metres.
