CONSEQUENCES OF BAD WEATHER
Due to the bad weather, 467 settlements in the western regions of the country are without power supply. Most of them are in Lviv region. About 286,000 consumers were left without electricity.
Trains were also suspended in the region. More than half a thousand personnel are involved in the repair work, and the repair of the power grids is ongoing.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS
Hostile terror continues in the frontline regions and those bordering russia. In Donetsk region, a 110 kV line was disconnected due to shelling, which led to a blackout in the town of Pokrovsk and neighbouring villages. More than 7,000 customers were left without electricity. Restoration works are ongoing.
In Kharkiv region, shelling damaged a gas pipeline in an apartment building in Kupyansk, and caused power outages in Kupyansk and Dvorichansky districts.
Some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson and Chernihiv regions also remain without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
POWER GENERATION
Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which may be affected by russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
About 10,000 consumers in Kherson remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the ZNPP cooling pond. It is currently at 16.08 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
EXPORT/IMPORT
Commercial electricity imports over the past day amounted to 1,638.00 MWh. There were no exports.
