Enemy attacked a power facility in Rivne region; no power cuts are expected.
GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Yesterday, the needs of consumers were covered by domestic generation and commercial imports. Also yesterday, during the daytime, Ukraine provided emergency assistance to Poland, receiving surplus electricity from the country's power system.
During one hour, due to the sunny weather and, accordingly, the active generation of electricity by SPPs, the transmission system operator limited the production of electricity from renewable sources.
Currently, no restrictions on household and industrial consumers are expected.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
At night in Rivne region, an enemy attack on one of the substations resulted in equipment being switched on and household consumers being cut off. Everyone has been supplied with power.
STATE OF THE GRID
In Odesa region, due to a technological disruption at a substation, household consumers connected to it suffered a short-term power outage. All consumers have been reconnected, and the cause of the outage is being investigated.
In Vinnytsia region, overhead power lines of a regional power company were switched off twice. Substations and household consumers connected to them lost power. Everyone has been supplied with power.
In Lviv region, a high-voltage overhead line was briefly out of service for technological reasons. The line is now back in operation.
EMERGENCIES
In Rivne region, a locksmith was struck by electricity while working at a substation and killed. The circumstances are being investigated.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond has slightly decreased to 15.23 metres. This is sufficient to cover the plant’s needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 18,821 MWh. No exports are expected.
