Situation in the power system as of 28 July: outage schedules will be applied from 18:00 to 22:00; the enemy shelled a mine in Donetsk region again.
GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
As of today, it is planned that hourly outage schedules will be applied only during peak consumption hours - from 18:00 to 22:00. Restrictions will apply to the extent of one queue.
For information on changes in the schedules, please visit the official websites of the regional power distribution companies in your region.
There will be no blackouts for critical infrastructure companies and companies that import more than 80% of electricity for their needs in accordance with a Government decree.
A significant capacity deficit in the power system remains. As a result of massive hostile attacks on the energy sector, 9 GW of production capacity was lost. There is constant shelling, especially in the frontline and border areas. Substations and power transmission lines are often targeted. As a result of missile and drone strikes, there are restrictions on the transmission of available electricity.
We urge Ukrainians to continue to consume electricity sparingly.
STATE OF THE GRIDS
In Vinnytsia region, a high-voltage overhead line was disconnected due to a technological malfunction, which led to a power outage at a substation and the household consumers connected to it. All consumers were supplied with power via a backup scheme.
In Zakarpattia region, a high-voltage overhead line was briefly disconnected. Consumers were not disconnected from the power supply.
EMERGENCIES
In Donetsk region, the enemy shelled the territory of a mine with 27 employees at the time. The mine was not de-energised and no fire broke out.
POWER OUTAGES FOR CONSUMERS
Power engineers supplied power to 3,524 consumers who were cut off from electricity as a result of hostilities and technological disruptions.
In total, 483 settlements remain without electricity supply due to hostilities and technical disruptions.
EXPORT
Exports are neither carried out nor planned.
