Situation in the power system as of 2 June: power supply restrictions for consumers are in effect; more than 32,000 customers suffer blackouts in three regions due to bad weather

Yesterday, the needs of consumers were covered by domestic generation and commercial imports. No emergency assistance was provided. In the evening of the previous day and at night of the current day, restrictions were applied to consumers. They will remain in force this evening.

After six massive attacks on the power system, there is a significant power shortage. Power engineers are working to eliminate the consequences and repairs are underway. However, the system is sensitive. Therefore, the periods of outages may increase. In particular, emergency blackouts were introduced in a number of regions on Sunday.

Power engineers are fixing and eliminating the consequences of the massive attack that took place the day before. In the Ivano-Frankivsk region, rocket fragments damaged an overhead power line.

In the Lviv region, wires were broken due to falling debris. The line is still in operation.

Today in Vinnytsia region, equipment was shut down at a substation during an air raid alert. This resulted in a blackout of high-voltage overhead lines.

In Sumy region, equipment was disconnected at a power company substation. Household consumers lost power. Everyone has been supplied with power. In Kyiv region, overhead lines and substations of regional power distribution companies were disconnected. Residential consumers and agricultural enterprises were cut off from power supply. All consumers have been supplied with power as of now.

In Mykolaiv region, the overhead line of a regional power company was briefly disconnected, and household consumers lost power. All consumers were supplied with power.

As of this morning, 133 settlements in Kyiv, Chernihiv and Khmelnytsky regions remain without power supply due to the bad weather. In total, more than 32,000 subscribers are affected. Restoration works are underway.

For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 26,134 MWh. No exports are expected.
