    Consumers in Zaporizhzhia cut off from power supply as a result of a missile strike; gas supply restored to 1,200 households in Kharkiv region that were disconnected due to shelling

    CONSEQUENCES OF THE SHELLING

    Overnight, a missile strike on Zaporizhzhia cut power supply to an apartment block, disconnecting 100 customers.

    Gas supply was restored to 1,200 households in Kharkiv region that were left without gas due to shelling of gas distribution stations. Almost 800 households remain without gas supply. Emergency repair works are ongoing.

    SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS

    The occupants continue to terrorise the frontline and border areas. Over 5,000 consumers in Donetsk region and 1,500 in Dnipropetrovsk region lost power due to shelling. Some consumers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions are also without power.

    Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.

    In total, power companies have supplied power to 16,700 consumers over the past day. Most of them are customers in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions.

    POWER GENERATION

    The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.

    Power engineers continue to prepare the energy system for the heating season, which will take place in the face of russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.

    CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP

    In Kherson, 1,500 consumers remain without power due to flooding. Power engineers are working to restore power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.

    SITUATION IN THE REGIONS

    In Lviv region, gas supply to 285 residential buildings was cut off due to technical problems at a gas distribution point. Restoration works are underway.

    SITUATION AT THE ZNPP

    There is a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond. It is currently at 15.71 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.

    EXPORT/IMPORT

    Commercial electricity imports totalled 10 MWh over the past day. Exports to Slovakia and Moldova totalled 3,914 MWh.
