Consequences of the shelling
In Donetsk region, an overhead line was damaged by shelling and the town of Kostyantynivka was cut off from electricity.
In Kharkiv region, the shelling damaged the administrative building of one of the regional power company’s divisions. The walls were destroyed and windows were smashed. There were no casualties.
As a result of shelling in Kherson region, almost 3,000 consumers lost power over the past day.
Power generation and consumption
Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is fully sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.
A unit at one of the hydroelectric power plants was shut down for technical reasons. Repairs are underway. A unit of one of the thermal power plants is also under short-term repair. These situations do not affect the level of coverage of consumers’ needs with electricity.
The maximum consumption was recorded yesterday at 17.10.
Situation in the regions
As a result of hostilities and technological disruptions, 428 settlements are without power.
In Donetsk region, 122 settlements remain without power.
In Kharkiv region, power companies have restored electricity to 950 consumers overnight. More than 17,600 customers remain without power.
A medium-pressure gas distribution pipeline was also damaged in Kharkiv region as a result of hostilities. Residents of one of the villages bordering russia were left without gas.
In Lviv region, 150 customers were left without gas supply due to damage to gas equipment by a car. Another 85 consumers are without natural gas for technical reasons.
More than 28,000 consumers were cut off from electricity supply due to shelling in Kherson, and more than 700 customers remain without power due to flooding caused by the explosion at the Kakhovka HPP.
In Dnipropetrovsk region, 6 overhead lines were disconnected for technical reasons. More than 13,000 customers were left without electricity. More than 1,000 consumers remain disconnected. In total, power companies restored electricity to 14,600 customers over the day.
Also, 17 customers in the city of Dnipro were left without gas for technical reasons.
Situation at the ZNPP
The water level in the plant’s cooling pond remains unchanged at 15.67 metres.
This is enough to meet the needs of the plant.
Exports/imports
Over the past day, electricity imports from Slovakia, Romania and Moldova totalled 2,921 MWh, while exports to these countries amounted to 1,392 MWh.
