No electricity deficit in the power system, there are generation reserves, and exports are also planned
Power generation and consumption
There is no deficit in the Ukrainian power system. Domestic generation is sufficient to cover the needs of all consumers. Imports and exports of electricity are also planned.
A thermal power plant block is undergoing short-term repairs. At the same time, 10 units of thermal power plants are in reserve and will be used if necessary.
The situation is under control. The system is balanced. No outage schedules are applied.
Consequences of shelling
A 110 kV overhead line in Donetsk region was disconnected due to hostilities. In Marhanets (Dnipropetrovsk region), a surface gas distribution pipeline was damaged by shelling.
State of the grid
At the 330 kV substation of NPC Ukrenergo in Volyn region, equipment was disconnected due to technical reasons, and more than 1,500 household consumers and local industry were cut off from power. All of them have now been reconnected.
