Due to the surplus of electricity, renewable energy generation was limited; 12 units of TPP generating equipment are in reserve
POWER GENERATION
Due to favourable weather conditions and intensive electricity generation by solar power plants, on Sunday, at the command of the dispatcher, NPC Ukrenergo restricted RES generation from 9:31 to 16:30 with a capacity of 2,226 MW.
No shortage of electricity is expected for the current day. A TPP unit was put out of service for emergency repairs. There are 10 units and 2 blocks of thermal power plants in reserve, which will be used if necessary. Commercial electricity imports and exports are planned.
The situation is under control. The system is balanced. No outage schedules are applied.
NETWORK STATUS
Due to the disconnection of equipment at a 110 kV substation in Lviv region, household consumers in one settlement lost power.
SITUATION AT ZNPP
The 330 kV backup line supplying the plant remains de-energised.
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.54 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
IMPORT/EXPORT
For the current day, electricity imports are forecast at 2,553 MWh. It is also planned to export up to 5,298 MWh to Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Moldova and Hungary.
