Power generation and consumption
Yesterday afternoon, there was a surplus of electricity in the Ukrainian power system. At the request of the transmission system operator, the surplus was transferred to the Polish power system (from 13:00 to 16:00) with a total supply of 300 MWh.
After emergency repairs, 4 units and the TPP block were connected to the grid. There are 10 units of generating equipment in reserve that will be used if necessary.
State of the grid
Equipment at a substation in Dnipropetrovsk region went out of order for technical reasons, which resulted in a blackout at substations supplying households and local industry in Kryvyi Rih. Within half an hour, all customers were supplied with power via the main circuit.
The system is balanced. No stabilisation outage schedules are planned.
Import/export
For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 4,914 MWh, and exports are also expected at 230 MWh.
