Situation in energy system on 29 August: power supply restrictions in place throughout the day

POWER GENERATION AND CONSUMPTION

Today, power outage schedules will be in effect throughout the day. Changes can be monitored on the official websites of regional power distribution companies in the respective regions.

No power outages are planned for critical infrastructure companies and companies that import more than 80% of electricity for their needs in accordance with a government decree.

The facilities are currently undergoing demining, mitigation and repair work. At the same time, a large-scale repair campaign is underway to ensure stable operation of the power system and prepare for the autumn and winter season.

Everyone is urged to use electricity rationally and economically.

CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING

Chernihiv region: overhead power lines were disconnected as a result of shelling, which cut off power to household consumers.

Kharkiv region: substations and household consumers lost power due to hostilities.

Zaporizhzhia region: during the inspection of an overhead line, explosive devices were found and cleared.

Dnipropetrovsk region: workers found the wreckage of a UAV on the territory of a substation, which was cleared.

Mykolaiv region: during the inspection of the overhead line, damage to the wires was found.

NETWORK STATUS

Donetsk region: equipment at one of the substations was switched off for technological reasons, and the substations and household consumers were cut off from power. The power supply has been restored.

Volyn region: due to technological disruptions, substations and household consumers connected to them lost power. The power supply has been restored according to the backup scheme.

POWER OUTAGES FOR CONSUMERS

Over the past day, power companies restored power to 16,046 consumers who were cut off as a result of hostilities and technological disruptions.

In total, 568 settlements remain without power supply as of this morning due to hostilities and technical disruptions.

SITUATION AT ZNPP

The water level in the cooling pond is 14.57 metres. This is enough to meet the plant’s needs.

EXPORT

No electricity is exported and no exports are planned.
