Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, posted 25 June 2024 10:24

Power supply restrictions in place throughout the day; all consumers cut off due to bad weather reconnected

    POWER GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION

Yesterday, to prevent overloading of power grid cross-sections, additional queues of hourly outage schedules were applied in some regions.

In Dnipropetrovsk region, emergency outage schedules were applied. This was due to an increase in electricity consumption, despite the restrictions already in place at the time.

The reason for the restrictions is the enemy’s attacks on the energy infrastructure and the negative consequences of these attacks.

Today, the schedules of hourly power outages are applied from 0:00 to 24:00. Information will be updated if the situation changes.

There will be no blackouts for critical infrastructure facilities and companies that import 80% of their electricity in accordance with the government decree.

    CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING

An overhead power line of a regional power company was disconnected in Kharkiv region during hostile shelling. As a result, household consumers were cut off from electricity, and the power supply to the high-voltage substation was cut off.

    STATE OF THE GRID

Yesterday, a high-voltage overhead line was disconnected in the southern region due to a technological failure. The substation was de-energised as a result. As a result, consumers in the Mykolaiv region were left without power supply. Everyone has been supplied with power.

In Kirovohrad region, a cable line was disconnected for technological reasons yesterday afternoon, which resulted in a power outage for household consumers. Everyone has been supplied with power.

    SITUATION AT ZNPP

The water level in the cooling pond is 15.12 metres. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant.

    IMPORT/EXPORT

For the current day, electricity imports are forecasted at 26,542 MWh. No exports are planned.
