Another 220 MW TPP power unit was put back into operation after maintenance, and an interstate overhead line of NPC Ukrenergo was out of service
Another thermal generation unit was put back into operation after scheduled maintenance. It added 220 MW of additional capacity to the grid. The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers.
Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which will take place in the face of russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
STATE OF THE GRID
In Zakarpattia region, the 400 kV interstate overhead power transmission line of NPC Ukrenergo, which connects the power systems of Ukraine and Slovakia, was briefly out of service. The reason for the outage was the shutdown of a substation in Slovakia.
CONSEQUENCES OF BAD WEATHER
In Kyiv region, 7 settlements in Makariv, Boryspil, Ivankiv and Kyiv-Svyatoshinskyi districts lost power due to a storm front. The power outage lasted for several hours while repair works were carried out. All consumers have now been reconnected.
In Khmelnytskyi region, more than 1,000 consumers in 10 settlements remain without power due to the weather. Repair works are ongoing.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
In Kirovohrad region, a road accident damaged power line towers, which put seven 10 kV lines out of service. Almost all networks have been restored, repair work on one of the lines is ongoing, and more than 100 consumers remain without power.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE AREAS
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. In Donetsk region, more than 5,000 consumers in 10 settlements lost power in the last day due to enemy shelling. The power supply has been partially reconnected and repairs are ongoing with the permission of the military.
Some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair teams are working where the security situation allows.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
In Kherson, efforts are underway to restore power grids damaged by the flood. Over the past day, about 200 grid access points have been powered up. About 4,500 consumers in the city remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
The water level in the ZNPP cooling pond remains unchanged. It is currently at 15.92 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
Commercial electricity imports totalled 790.00 MWh over the past day. Exports to Slovakia amounted to 2,092.00 MWh, and to Moldova – 1,597.00 MWh.
