Power generation and consumption
A surplus of electricity was recorded in the power system of Ukraine, with surpluses being transferred to neighbouring Poland on an emergency basis (from 12:00 to 16:00). The total volume was 1,200 MWh. Also yesterday, the power generation from renewable energy sources was reduced for an hour.
A building at a TPP unit was put out of service for emergency short-term repairs. At the same time, the TPP unit was put back online.
As of 9:00 a.m., 8 units of generating equipment are in reserve and can be activated as needed. The power system is balanced. The situation is under control. No blackout schedules are applied.
Consequences of the shelling
As a result of the shelling, a 150 kV line in Dnipropetrovsk region was disconnected, there were no power outages, the line has been restored to operation.
An overhead line in Kyiv region was also disconnected yesterday due to the fall of UAV debris, but no consumers were cut off.
Situation at the ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is stable at 15.63 metres. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant.
Import/Export
Electricity imports totalled 3,957 MWh yesterday. Exports are also planned for the current day.
