No electricity shortage, a frontline TPP under fire
Power generation and consumption
There is no electricity shortage in the system, the needs of consumers are covered by domestic generation, and electricity imports are also planned.
A TPP unit was put out of service for emergency short-term repairs. Equipment at one of the frontline TPPs was also shut down for a short time. No heat supply was disrupted.
The situation is under control. No outage schedules are applied
Consequences of shelling
A thermal power plant in Donetsk region came under enemy fire yet again. There were no casualties.
In Nikopol, a low-pressure gas distribution pipeline was damaged as a result of hostilities, causing numerous damages to equipment. Some consumers are disconnected.
Situation at the ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is 15.62 metres. This is sufficient to meet the plant’s needs.
Import/export
Electricity imports for the current day amount to 4,687 MWh. No exports are planned.
