Due to the disconnection of Ukrenergo’s power transmission line in Lviv region, 290,000 customers were left without electricity.
STATE OF THE GRID
Over the past day, the main power transmission lines of NPC Ukrenergo were disconnected three times. In Lviv region, almost 290,000 customers lost power for a short period of time due to the outage of a 330 kV line. The causes of the incident are being investigated.
The damage also caused a power outage at the 330 kV line supplying the Chornobyl NPP. The damage was located in belarus. A fallen tree also caused a 330 kV overhead line in Kyiv region to be out of service. In addition, a 220 kV substation in Ivano-Frankivsk region was out of service due to equipment damage.
CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING
Three 0.4 kV lines supplying about 100 customers were disconnected in Lviv as a result of the overnight enemy missile attack. Further inspections of the networks are underway.
POWER GENERATION
In preparation for the new heating season, a large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.
SITUATION IN THE REGIONS
An accident occurred in Kharkiv region involving the personnel of NPC Ukrenergo. An electrician suffered burns due to a broken wire while working on a 330 kV line. He was taken to hospital by ambulance, the circumstances of the accident are being investigated.
SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE AREAS
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. As a result of shelling, 403 settlements in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson, Luhansk and Chernihiv regions are without electricity. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.
In Donetsk and Kharkiv regions, the hostilities damaged gas pipelines, which resulted in the interruption of gas supply to more than 100 households. Repair works are ongoing.
CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP
In Kherson, 11,300 consumers remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore power supply, but repairs are slowed down due to shelling.
SITUATION AT THE ZNPP
The water level in the cooling pond is stable. It is currently at 16.19 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
EXPORT/IMPORT
Commercial electricity imports over the past day amounted to 5,500.00 MWh. There were no exports.
