POWER GENERATION

Another power unit at a thermal power plant was repaired, adding 150 MW of capacity to the grid. The electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. Yesterday, restrictions on renewable energy production in different regions totalling 394 MW were applied for three daytime hours.

Power engineers continue to prepare the power system for the heating season, which will take place in the face of russian attacks. A large-scale repair campaign is underway at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities.

SITUATION IN THE FRONTLINE REGIONS

Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia.

In Zaporizhzhia region, a 35 kV overhead power line was cut off due to hostilities, which led to a partial power outage in 27 settlements. The power company restored electricity to more than 4,000 consumers overnight.

Some consumers in Donetsk, Kharkiv, Kherson, Sumy and Chernihiv regions remain without power. Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.

CONSEQUENCES OF THE KAKHOVKA HPP DAM BLOW-UP

About 8,000 consumers in Kherson remain without power. Power engineers are working to restore the power supply, but repairs are slowed down by shelling.

SITUATION AT THE ZNPP

The water level in the ZNPP cooling pond remains unchanged. It is currently at 15.97 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
