Enemy attacked energy facilities in 5 regions; in the evening, restrictions on household and industrial consumers are expected
CONSEQUENCES OF THE SHELLING
At night, the enemy attacked power facilities in Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Donetsk, Kirovohrad, and Ivano-Frankivsk regions. This is the sixth massive missile and drone strike on energy facilities since 22 March.
The consequences are being clarified. Power engineers are working to eliminate them.
GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, CONSUMPTION
Over the past day, consumers' needs were covered by domestic generation, commercial imports and emergency assistance in the evening hours from the power systems of Romania, Poland and Slovakia.
In addition, at certain hours, Ukraine transferred excess electricity to the Polish power system to balance the grid.
Restrictions were imposed on renewable energy facilities in the western and southwestern regions for an hour.
Today, from 18:00 to 23:00, restriction schedules for household and industrial consumers are expected to be applied in all regions.
At the same time, due to the night attack on the power grid, the scope of restrictions may change. We remind you that the main reason for the outages is large-scale russian attacks on the power grid and the resulting power shortage.
