Power engineers continue to record damage to the infrastructure as a result of constant hostile shelling in the frontline and border areas with russia. In particular, some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson and Chernihiv regions are still without electricity supply.
Yesterday, on May 14, an emergency was reported in Kyiv, where a power line was disconnected. Repair crews arriving at the scene found an electrocuted victim on the line who was fishing in a restricted area. The man was taken by ambulance to a medical facility. The line has been stabilised.
Work is underway to restore power supply and energy facilities in areas affected by fighting or enemy shelling. Over the past day, power has been restored to 8,300 customers. Most of them are in Zaporizhzhia region.
The power system is stable. Generation is fully meeting demand.
