Consequences of the bad weather
As a result of the thunderstorm that swept across the country and the resulting technological disruptions, 75 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk region, 37 in Zaporizhzhia region, 14 in Sumy region, 12 in Poltava region, 6 in Chernihiv region, and 4 in Kyiv region lost power.
Power generation
The repair campaign at thermal, hydro and nuclear generation facilities is ongoing. Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is fully sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. There is no shortage.
Consequences of shelling
At night, the enemy struck again at the territory of Ukraine. A power line was damaged in Mykolaiv region, resulting in a partial power cut in 1 settlement.
In Odesa region, several power lines were disconnected as a result of damage caused by a missile attack, and almost 3,000 consumers lost power. Repair crews are waiting for permission to start inspecting the lines and carrying out repairs.
Situation in the frontline areas
Enemy terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. The shelling has left 33 settlements in Donetsk region without electricity. Some customers in Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, Kherson, Kharkiv and Chernihiv regions are still without electricity.
Repair teams are working where the security situation allows.
Consequences of the Kakhovka HPP dam blow-up
Efforts are underway to record and eliminate the consequences of the flood caused by the dam blast. In Kherson, 12,700 customers are still without power.
Power engineers are working to restore power supply. Restoration work has been slowed down, in particular, due to constant shelling.
Situation at the ZNPP
There is a slight decrease in the water level in the cooling pond. It is currently at 16.4 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.
