    Consequences of the bad weather

    As a result of the thunderstorm that swept across the country and the resulting technological disruptions, consumers in several regions were temporarily left without electricity. 64 settlements in Dnipropetrovsk region, 17 settlements in Donetsk region, 9 settlements in Kyiv region, and more than 5,000 consumers in Kyiv lost power.

    Situation in the frontline regions

    Hostile terror continues in the frontline and border regions with russia. The shelling has left 16 settlements in Donetsk region as well as some consumers in Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson, Kharkiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions without electricity.

    Two mines have also lost power and all miners have been brought to the surface.

    Repair crews are working where the security situation allows.

    Over 13,000 consumers have been reconnected over the past day.

    Power generation

    Electricity generated by Ukrainian power plants is fully sufficient to meet the needs of consumers. There is no shortage.

    Consequences of the Kakhovka HPP dam blow-up

    Efforts continue to record and eliminate the consequences of the flood caused by the dam blast. In Kherson, 13,500 consumers are still without electricity.

    Power engineers are working to restore power supply.

    Situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP

    The water level in the cooling pond is 16.58 metres. This is enough to meet the needs of the plant.

    Situation in the regions

    An accident occurred in Vinnytsia region. While working on a power line, a power company employee was electrocuted. An ambulance and police were called to the scene. Doctors pronounced him dead. An investigation was launched.

    Exports/imports

    There were no commercial exports or imports of electricity yesterday.
