Ministry of Defence of Ukraine, posted 15 April 2025 17:08

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved the Procedure for the State Quality Assurance of Defence Goods, Works and Services, which will harmonise the Ukrainian system with the relevant systems of NATO member states.

The new procedure will regulate the mechanism for guaranteeing the quality of products of national producers in the implementation of foreign economic export-import contracts and will increase the efficiency of quality assurance activities in general.

The relevant draft resolution, which was developed by the Ministry of Defence, was adopted by the Government at its meeting today.

The procedure establishes mutual quality assurance in the implementation of foreign economic contracts for the export and import of products based on NATO standards.

It defines the main components of the work on preparing and conducting state quality assurance. These include procedures for identifying, analysing and assessing risks in the execution of government contracts.

The document was prepared in pursuance of the Prime Minister’s instruction to develop a legal framework to ensure transparency of defence procurement while protecting these procedures under martial law.
