Happy Monday, together with the international platform Coursera, with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine and the assistance of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, has launched the ReSkill UA programme. This is an online training and retraining programme for Ukrainians with the possibility of further employment.

The project is open to both beginners and professionals seeking to change or expand their field of professional activity, as well as specialists planning to start their own business or just starting to try their hand at entrepreneurship.

“The state works closely with business to implement educational initiatives for Ukrainians who want to upgrade their skills or try a new profession. This is also a valuable contribution to the country’s economy, as such training programmes prepare specialists in areas that are currently in demand on the labour market. The ReSkill UA educational project provides free access to training, after which students will receive international certificates from the world’s best universities and companies, including Google, Meta, IBM, etc.,” said Yuliia Svyrydenko, First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

The programme participants will have free access to one of eleven study programmes of their choice.

The areas of study are based on an analysis of employers’ needs in the labour market. They include, in particular:

• Retraining programmes. You can learn professions from scratch in the following areas: sales, project management, marketing, retail support, and entrepreneurship.
• Programmes for advanced training. You can deepen your expertise in the following areas: energy, manufacturing, construction, supply chain management, and logistics.
• Programmes for retraining and advanced training in the following areas: cybersecurity, artificial intelligence.

During the training, each participant will be able to take advantage of mentoring support from Happy Monday. Initiatives such as career counselling, webinars, etc. are planned. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive an international certificate from Coursera and will be able to take advantage of the employment opportunities provided by the programme (job fairs, online and offline internships, etc.).

The training will take place online.

Registration for the project is already open. The training will start in June. ReSkill UA project applicants need to fill in the registration form.
