One hundred Ukrainian children went to an entertainment and sports camp in Riga. These are children of combatants and fallen heroes from Donetsk and Kharkiv regions.
The free recreation was made possible thanks to the agreements concluded during the visit of the Minister of Social Policy Oksana Zholnovych to Latvia last year and the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Latvia. The project is coordinated by the State Service for Children.
"I thank our Latvian partners for helping Ukrainians. Together with the strong support of European countries, we take care of everyone who needs it to provide Ukrainian children and families with a feeling of support even in times of war. Especially when it comes to families who have lost the most precious - their relatives," says Oksana Zholnovych.
