Minister of Defence of Ukraine General of the Army of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak visited service members undergoing treatment in Military Medical Clinical Centre of Northern region in Kharkiv.

He congratulated them on the Victory Day and stressed ‘this day is special as we have to remember the heroism of our ancestors’.

„Today, we commemorate the warriors of the previous war but we also commemorate our today’s heroes. It’s very important”, stressed Stepan Poltorak. „We all have the common goal: we would like to achieve peace, but only after our victory”.

General Poltorak awarded service members in Kharkiv hospital with medals, presents, and money certificates.

He also spoke with wounded servicemen.

„Your experience is precious, the war tested you. You are precious specialists, teachers, and motivators for our youth, combatants, and all the Ukrainians. Thus, we will try to find possibilities for those who were wounded to continue your service within the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, Gen. Poltorak stressed and wished them sooner recovery.
