Enemy damaged a thermal power plant in Donetsk region, electricity produced by Ukrainian power plants is sufficient to meet consumer demand

    CONSEQUENCES OF SHELLING

The enemy again attacked one of the thermal power plants in Donetsk region. The shelling caused a fire and damaged equipment. There were no casualties.

The satellite town was temporarily left without electricity. Electricity supply has been restored.

    POWER GENERATION

One of the thermal power plants was down for technical reasons. There were no losses to the heating network.

Units of 5 TPPs were put out of service for short-term emergency repairs.

One of them has already been put back into operation, while the rest are still under repair.

The power generating facilities are operating normally. The coal and fuel oil stocks are sufficient for the uninterrupted operation of the plants. The volume of electricity generated is sufficient to fully meet the needs of consumers and industry.

The maximum consumption was recorded at 18:00 yesterday.

    SITUATION AT THE ZNPP

A partial blackout occurred on 14 November due to the incompetence of the russian invaders and rosatom employees.

There was a power outage at ZNPP Unit 6, which resulted in the launch of diesel generators and safety systems that operated for 90 minutes.

These data are confirmed by the information of IAEA inspectors who are on the site of the temporarily occupied nuclear power plant.

The water level in the ZNPP cooling pond remains unchanged at 15.67 metres. This is sufficient to meet the needs of the plant.

    EXPORT/IMPORT

Over the past day, electricity exports totalled 1,422 MWh, while imports amounted to 3,896 MWh.
