Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, posted 19 June 2023 12:48

Entrepreneurs from India, Pakistan, Slovenia and Thailand will have the opportunity to take advantage of the Ukrainian e-Residency programme. The list of countries will be expanded over time.

Thanks to the initiative, foreign citizens will become virtual e-residents of our country and will be able to run their business with favourable tax conditions.

"Ukraine is striving to become a global centre of innovation, attracting talented entrepreneurs from all over the world. We will be happy to welcome citizens of India, Pakistan, Slovenia and Thailand to our e-Residency programme. The initiative will allow entrepreneurs to register in Ukraine in a few clicks, manage their business remotely, open bank accounts and pay taxes. This is additional revenue for the Ukrainian budget," said Oleksandr Borniakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for IT Development.

E-residents will be eligible to use advanced identification technologies, online banking and electronic signing of documents. Work is currently underway to develop the necessary regulatory framework to launch the e-Residency programme in full. The e-Residency information system is also being tested.

It should be noted that e-Residency of Ukraine will not be available to citizens of russia, belarus and countries on the FATF grey or black list. In addition, e-residents will not provide services to Ukrainian citizens, i.e. they will work exclusively with other foreigners.
