PJSC "Centrenergo" transferred UAH 5 million to the Nadiya Mine to pay wage arrears.

The Ministry of Energy addressed PJSC "Centrenergo" with a proposal to provide an advance payment in the amount of UAH 5 million for coal products of the Nadiya mine. The funds have already been transferred to the mine's accounts. They will be used to pay miners' salaries.

Apart from that, on August 31, at the request of the Ministry of Energy, Kaluska TPP-NOVA transferred UAH 3.7 million to the Nadiya mine, which was also be directed to pay wages to workers.

"The Ministry endeavours best efforts to ensure the payment of salaries to the workers of the Nadiya mine. We are analyzing options for how the company will continue to operate and will present our action plan in the near future. I want to emphasize that those who brought the company to such a difficult situation should be punished," acting Minister of Energy Olha Buslavets said.
