Sergii Koretskyi discussed with representatives of an American defence company how to make Ukraine’s defence industry even stronger
Today, the Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi together with acting Minister of Defence Yevhen Khmara met with Raytheon’s Vice President for Land and Air Defense as well as the Raytheon Ukraine Executive.
"We discussed ways to rapidly increase deliveries of Patriot missiles ahead of winter, expand their production, and further strengthen Ukraine’s defense industry. Our objective is not only to meet Ukraine’s immediate defense needs, but also to deepen Ukraine’s integration into the global security architecture," noted the Head of Government.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, particular attention was paid to the joint production of air defense systems. "This was one of the key outcomes of the meeting between the Presidents of Ukraine and the United States in Ankara. The U.S. side has already proposed practical next steps, and the Ukrainian Government will do everything necessary to launch this cooperation without delay," noted Sergii Koretskyi.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine thanked to the United States for its steadfast support of Ukraine.
