Sergii Koretskyi: Government approved the draft Customs Code and submitted it to the Verkhovna Rada

The Government reapproved the draft and, as required by law, resubmitted it to the Verkhovna Rada. This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi.
“We are resuming substantive dialogue with Parliament on the new Customs Code,” said the Head of Government. “This is one of the most important pieces of legislation on Ukraine's path toward EU membership. I look forward to working closely with Members of Parliament to ensure a thorough and constructive consideration of every provision".
The new version of the Customs Code aims to align Ukraine’s customs system with European standards.
