Prime Minister discussed defense sector financing with heads of relevant agencies

Prime Minister of Ukraine Sergii Koretskyi held a separate meeting with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, the Minister of Finance, the Acting Minister of Defense, the Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, and the Minister of Internal Affairs.

"We discussed the real updated need for financing the Defense Forces until the end of this year. The Government and directly the Ministry of Finance are working to fully cover all necessary expenditures," emphasized the Head of Government.

Sergii Koretskyi stressed that all domestic tax revenues, as before, are directed to the needs of the security and defense sector. The Government will continue to seek additional resources, including through the support of international partners.

"We already have a vision for financing the Defense Forces for next year. Work is underway on the comprehensive formation of Budget-2027," added the Prime Minister.
