Five Ukrainian regions receive more than 80 tonnes of energy equipment from Iceland
More than 80 tonnes of energy equipment provided by Iceland have been delivered from the warehouses of the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine’s emergency energy assistance hubs to energy companies in the Ternopil, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv and Kirovohrad regions.
The equipment will be used to support the stable operation of the energy system, including electricity transmission and distribution, grid protection, as well as repair and restoration works.
The equipment received will contribute to strengthening the resilience of energy infrastructure and help ensure a reliable electricity supply in the regions.
We express our gratitude to Landsnet hf. for providing critically needed equipment and to the people of Iceland for their continued support for Ukraine’s energy sector.
