The Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Sector (USESCS) has been updated with 97 digitised state building codes and amendments thereto.

Previously, they were only available in paper form, which caused inconveniences for developers of project documentation, expert organisations, construction clients and construction market participants in general.

“These steps are part of the Infrastructure Ministry’s consistent efforts to improve transparency in the construction sector. At the beginning of April, we resumed publishing open data on construction in the USESCS and on the data.gov.ua portal. In March, Diia launched an e-cabinet on the portal, which displays all construction documents where the user is listed as a construction client.

In the coming months, the portal will also offer the possibility of working with updated versions of documents and document revisions, as well as searching the centralised glossary of terms,” commented Oleksandr Kubrakov, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development.

The digitisation of all state building codes was carried out as part of the Integrated Urban Development in Ukraine II project implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH and funded by the governments of Germany and Switzerland.

The process of digitising the state building codes and uploading them to the e-system portal began with the launch of the USESCS in 2020. The main sets were already available for use in a convenient format, and now all the state building codes are accessible on the e-construction.gov.ua portal in the Registers/Legislative and Regulatory Acts section.

The portal contains information on both the current document and amendments thereto, making it easy to see what has changed in the new version.

The Unified State Electronic System in the Construction Sector was created in cooperation between the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development and the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine with the support of the USAID / UK aid Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services / TAPAS Project.
