The reform of the civil service offered by the Government stipulates for a complete retrofitting of the country’s governance and updating working conditions of civil servants. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman during a meeting with the participants of the project "State Builder". The purpose of the programme is to organize youth traineeships at the Presidential Administration, the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, Ministries and other central executive bodies.
"It is important to ensure that professionally experienced young people could come to work in the public sector. Thus, it is essential when there is a possibility of working in the state service sector and making it more competitive, the Prime Minister stressed. - We are carrying out the reform of the civil service, and this is a complete reboot of the state apparatus. We need to update the system and working conditions. "
The Head of Government emphasized that Ukraine faces unprecedented challenges and problems that require new solutions and new approaches. " There are two options either to come to power and to build a new country or to give up and change your country of residence. I will tell you one truth, no matter where we live in the world, only in Ukraine we will feel at home. Today we have a chance to change our country. Not everyone has the opportunity to be involved in this crucial process", Volodymyr Groysman underscored.
The Prime Minister stressed that the Government Building should not be only viewed as a large building because of its size, but as a place where one can come to work for the sake of the state.
