Research and development companies can now become residents of Diia.City: Government adopts resolution

From now on, all companies engaged in research and development can become Diia.City residents – such changes were supported by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine. This means new opportunities for technology development and additional tax benefits for businesses.

Previously, only companies engaged in research and development in IT and telecoms could become Diia.City residents. Now the spectrum is much wider: biotechnology, microelectronics, genetic engineering, defence technologies, etc. These companies develop and test products in all possible areas. Conditions for existing categories are also being clarified, such as the inclusion of web analytics for digital marketing and the creation of batteries for UAV manufacturers.

For companies engaged in research and development, joining Diia.City provides tax advantages, flexible English law, a transparent corporate structure, and increased opportunities for growth and investment.

The promotion of research and development is the basis for innovations that can raise the level of the economy and support the security and defence sector. Over the three years of Diia.City’s operation, the taxation of 1,550+ residents has reached billions of hryvnias.
