Accelerated reservation for businesses: 45-day mechanism for the defense industry and cancellation of the 72-hour check
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved changes to the Procedure for reserving conscripts. They are aimed at protecting the human resources of enterprises operating in the defense industry and ensuring the country's economic stability.
One of the important innovations is the possibility to reserve employees of defense industry enterprises for a period of 45 calendar days, during which the employee can rectify violations of military registration rules. This innovation allows companies not to lose specialists while formal procedures are being settled.
In addition, for enterprises that have been confirmed as critically important, the 72-hour deadline for checking the lists of employees submitted for reservation has been abolished. Now decisions are made faster, helping to quickly protect personnel and maintain continuous operation.
"We continue to improve the reservation mechanism so that enterprises, especially in the defense industry, can operate steadily and retain their teams. Quick decision-making, the elimination of unnecessary delays, and the ability to reserve employees for the period of rectifying military registration violations are what businesses have long been waiting for," said Vitalii Kindrativ, Deputy Minister of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.
The innovations will take effect from the date of the official publication of the Cabinet of Ministers' resolution.
