The business support program that has suffered the most from quarantine restrictions will be expanded. Ukrainians will be able to spend the money received for vaccination to buy books. This was announced by First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
"The Government’s team is working to make it convenient for people to use UAH 1,000 for participating in the vaccination campaign, and for businesses to receive the necessary support. We met with representatives of the cultural sphere, the Ukrainian Book Institute, Publishers and Booksellers Association, other institutions, and based on the results we decided that UAH 1,000 will be spent on books from the beginning of the eSupport program," Yulia Svyridenko said.
It should be noted that the eSupport program, initiated by the President of Ukraine, will trigger on December 19 and will continue during next year. Under the program, citizens will be able to receive support from the state in the amount of 1,000 hryvnias. With these funds you can buy a pass to the gym or fitness club, visit a cinema, theater, museum, concert hall or buy tickets for travel within the country - for domestic air and rail flights, as well as buy books. Adult citizens who have completed a full course of vaccination, which is confirmed by the relevant certificate in the Diia mobile application will be able to take part in the program.
Everyone can take part in the program at the first stage through the Diia mobile application. To do this, the citizen in the Diia chooses the service "eSupport", is checked for compliance with the established criteria, opens a virtual account in an online bank, receives money to it and spends it to purchase services from the business entity participating in the program. According to preliminary estimates, it is more than 6,000 enterprises in the fields of culture, sports and passenger transportation.
