Ukraine has agreed with NATO Headquarters to launch the Procurement Review programme. This was announced by Minister of Defence of Ukraine Oleksii Reznikov during a press conference entitled “How to implement anti-corruption policy in the defence sector during the war?” at the Media Centre Ukraine.

According to the Minister, the decision was made in Vilnius after the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit.

The Minister of Defence of Ukraine noted that the Ministry already cooperated directly with the NSPA, and representatives of the Ministry of Defence took part in relevant trainings, "so that our analogues work according to their models, their standards, and essentially become a system of their network," Oleksii Reznikov said.

“Within the framework of the Procurement Review programme, NATO experts will analyse the procurement of weapons and military equipment, assistance, training and possibly offer an improved modernised system within 9-10 months,” the Minister of Defence of Ukraine said.

He clarified that the State Anti-Corruption Programme was today considered by the Ministry from the perspective of NATO membership, which ensures transparency, accountability and prevention of corruption risks.
