Dear officers!

On behalf of the Government, I want to congratulate you on professional holiday - the Day of the Security Service of Ukraine!

The function of Security Service  of Ukraine (SSU)  is becoming of unparalleled importance amid the hybrid war and Russia’s  military aggression, as it is one of the state bodies entrusted with the duty to protect the country and citizens. Under the current circumstances, the employees of the SSU are expected to demonstrate high professionalism, effective working methods and concerted actions in conditions of increased complexity.

Therefore, the Government gives constant and close attention to the needs of the SSU. Our common task is to provide the SSU with appropriate level of material equipment, to promote its reformation and modernization, to establish interaction with other state bodies and enterprises. We must take care of reliable protection of our country in all areas  from the physical line of confrontation with the aggressor to the sphere of cybersecurity, from the detection of terrorist activity to counteracting economic sabotage. In this respect, the  society relies on the high professional level of the employees of the SSU, whose commitment to ensuring order and safety in the territory of our state is invaluable.

I express my gratitude to all the employees of the Security Service for hazardous work for the benefit of the state and the people! I wish you sound health, many years to live, as well as further professional successes, because life and safety of every citizen of Ukraine depend on it!
