Vaccination is the only way to overcome the COVID-19 pandemic. This was emphasized by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during acquaintance with the work of the mass vaccination center in Kropyvnytskyi on October 26.

"Vaccination saves lives. 95% of patients with coronavirus in hospitals today are unvaccinated people. This statistic is confirmed in all countries of the world. Vaccination reduces the chances of getting sick and protects against severe disease. It is very important to maximize the rate of vaccination and approach this issue responsibly," Denys Shmyhal stressed.

Prime Minister while visiting the mass vaccination center talked to visitors and doctors. Denys Shmyhal noted that registration in the electronic system takes a long time. The center's staff told the Prime Minister that they were developing options to speed up the process. They also noted that the number of people willing to be vaccinated has increased in the last two weeks.

"I urge everyone to come and get vaccinated. This is the only way to protect yourself and your family," the Head of Government underscored.
