On April 19, the Cabinet of Ministers endorsed a decision to expand the measures of the State Program for Youth Housing, adding the possibility of building and purchasing housing for temporary residence of internally displaced persons, commented Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"Erecting buildings will take place in safe areas with the use of rapid construction technologies. This will help provide housing for people who have left the combat zone or whose property was destroyed as a result of the russian invasion," said the Prime Minister.

According to Denys Shmyhal, the state will also offer people an opportunity to purchase such housing on conditions of long-term soft loans.

According to the Prime Minister, the measures will be financed, in particular, from resources envisaged in the budget to increase the authorized capital of the State Youth Housing Fund and international donors as well.
