Ukrainian police officers, who are daily on the payroll, guarantee security and demonstrate readiness to come to the rescue, deserve confidence, gratitude and respect of the society. This was stated by Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman while participating in the festive events dedicated the National Police Day of Ukraine.
"Every day you go out to serve the society, protect Ukrainian citizens, provide security in the streets of cities, discharge functions in Donbas. This inspires respect of every citizen", said Volodymyr Groysman. "I express my gratitude for your honor, dedicated service, for the ability to help under rough conditions."
The Head of Government highlighted saving lives, helping, risking life and limb is a huge challenge, but the ability to overcome it is inherent in the work of the National Police. "I wish you a success, to serve faithfully and loyally the society and citizens, to make Ukraine secure. I wish the trust in your service would only grow", said the Prime Minister. "Thank you, go ahead and win. The victory will be ours."

Today, July 4, the Prime Minister took part in a ceremony of awarding the officers of the National Police. In his address to the officers, he said that the core functions of people in uniform are to ensure security, order and filling the state budget.
