The Government has already begun preparations for the upcoming heating season. This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal while answering questions from MPs during the Question Time for the Government at the Verkhovna Rada on July 2.

"Preparations for the next heating season have begun. Relevant Government orders have been issued. This issue is under my personal control and under the control of the relevant ministries - the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development and the Ministry of Energy. Also, the relevant ministries together with Naftogaz are solving the issue of preparation and launch of thermal power plants for the heating season," the Head of Government said.

The Prime Minister stressed that the next heating season, like the previous one, would start on time, within the timeframes specified by law.
