Prime Minister Oleksiy Honcharuk within the scope of the visit to Donetsk regions visited the village of Mykolaivka located near the demarcation line and talked with local residents. Together with the Minister for Veterans Affairs, Temporarily Occupied Territories and Internally Displaced Persons of Ukraine Oksana Koliada the Head of Government talked with locals regarding burning issues for them. In particular, local residents raised the issue of tuberculosis diagnostics, medical care, namely the lack of pediatricians, family doctors. The conversation revolved around road connections between small villages with the district center. However, the most pressing issue for locals is inability to use hundreds of acres of land, much of which is a mined area.
Apart from that, Oleksiy Honcharuk together with the members of the Government examined the entry-exit checkpoint (EECP) in Novotroitske. They communicated with people who are crossing the demarcation line.
Problematic issues were also discussed with the border guards, in particular, the parties touched upon the importance of delaying the norm for crossing the EECP by children with foreign passports. According to Minister Oksana Koliada, a new mechanism should be shaped in one month.
The Prime Minister thanked the interlocutors for the important dialogue and assured the attendees of the Government's readiness to spare no effort to solve the problems raised by the people.
