During a working trip to the Dnipropetrovsk region, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal got familiarized with the work of Flight Control, a company that manufactures aircraft and spacecraft.
As part of the Government team together with the Prime Minister, the company was also attended by the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers Oleh Nemchinov, the Minister of Youth and Sports Vadym Hutzayt and the Deputy Head of the Office of the President Kyrylo Tymoshenko.
Flight Control specializes in research and experimental development in the field of natural and technical sciences. The scope of the enterprise includes scientific space research and the development of space technology. In particular, Flight Control cooperates with space companies in Ukraine, the United States and Europe.
"The company is an example of how successful Ukrainian companies can be on global markets. This is evidenced, in particular, by the project for the production of units and systems for the lunar landing module within the implementation of the NASA space program. I believe that the practice of public-private partnership with leading Ukrainian companies should be actively implemented," said Denys Shmyhal.
During the Prime Minister's acquaintance with the company's activities, the employees noted the high qualification of the employees thanks to the technical educational institutions in Ukraine. Denys Shmyhal, for his part, stressed that the development of vocational (technical) education is one of the key objectives facing the Ministry of Education and Science.
