The State Budget for 2022 is a budget for modernization of the country, economic recovery and investment in people: in their health, education and development. Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal stressed at a session of the Government on September 15.
During its regular meeting, the Government has approved the draft State Budget for 2022. The Prime Minister stressed that for the second year in a row, the Cabinet of Ministers is submitting the budget to the Parliament in time and is ready to discuss it with the MPs.
"The key priorities remain the same: healthcare, education, the army, infrastructure, social programs, digitalization, support for entrepreneurs and the economy," said Denys Shmyhal.
The Prime Minister also voiced the main macroeconomic parameters of the draft State Budget for 2022, including reducing the budget deficit to 3.5%, reducing public debt, wage growth, a stable hryvnia exchange rate, lower inflation, and a record GDP growth rate over the past 10 years.
